Milbrook Dartangan
Milbrook Dartangan was the lead bull for his test series in the Tully Test Station in Ireland, where he achieved an average daily gain (ADG) of 2.2kg and feed conversion efficiency (DMI/ADG) of 4.8. Following this outstanding result, Dartangan was subsequently purchased by Irish Based AI Centre Dovea in partnership with Elite Beef Semen from the UK.
Dartangan is the No.1 sire in Ireland for Gestation and his EBVs are in the top 1% in Ireland for Docility, Gestation, Muscle and Growth. Dartangan is also being used widely in the UK where he is also positive for docility, calving value, gestation (top 1%), muscle, and growth.

Tango was bred in the famous Champeval herd in France . He is an exceptional heavily muscled bull, derived from Champevals best female line and the muscle and growth leader Nectar. Milbrook Alistair was purchased for €16,000, making him the highest priced Limousin bull in Ireland in 2007. He is a son of the famous Domino (Champeval herd, leading Irish Sire for muscle) and out of the hugely successful ‘Tulipe’ dam line at Milbrook that has produced several All Ireland Heifer champions. He is a long, docile and well balanced bull and was selected for his combination of type, figures and deep pedigree.
Alistair is the No. 1 sire in the UK for birth wt (index 144), gestation (index 176) and calving value (index 169). Combined with his positive docility, strong muscle, high growth and sound structure, this sire truly represents a unique opportunity to advance the strengths of the Limousin breed.
